Grumman C-2A Greyhound BuNo 162175 ditched into the Pacific ca. 500 nautical miles SE from Okinawa. A total of 11 crew and passengers were headed to the USS Ronald Regan when the plane crashed into the Philippine Sea around 2:45 p.m. Japan Standard Time, ca. 30 minutes before they reached the aircrfat carier. 8 peoples survived and 3 were missing.
